There are only digital enhancements to suit contemporary tastes: Bluetooth enables the low-threshold use of mobile devices and computers, while HDMI-Arc allows for convenient integration of the TV into the stereo system. The base unit is what it has always been: an excellent hi-fi amplifier for the ambitious up-and-comer. The moderately priced Vincent SV-500MK demonstrates the advantages of hybrid technology through a pleasant, long-term sound paired with stable performance on standard household speakers.
